Trespassing leads to four arrests in Stone County

local-news-white-river-now-10

A call to the Stone County Sheriff’s Department reporting a vehicle trespassing on private property in the Pleasant Grove area led to four individuals being arrested.

Deputy Justin Meeks answered the call and found four individuals walking in a field toward a vehicle. One of the four, later identified as Shawn Jackson, began running away on foot.

The other three were stopped by Meeks as he requested another officer to his location. Arkansas State Trooper Jason Along arrived on scene and assisted. The three detained were Baylee Dulin, Erica Freyaldenhoven, and Jordan Livingston.

In the vehicle, officers found drug paraphernalia including syringes with what tested as methamphetamine inside. Chief Deputy Zach Alexander arrived on scene and requested the Arkansas Department of Correction to send a tracking dog to find Jackson. He was found near his residence on State Highway 14 East and taken into custody. The other three were also arrested and taken to jail pending charges.

Alexander said in another case, Jessica Jones, was arrested during a traffic stop for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

And the chief deputy also said that Loyd Neil Waters was arrested. Waters identified himself as a Texas Ranger to Cpl. Justin Meeks and flashed a badge. A check found that Waters was not a Ranger, so he went to jail for criminal impersonation.
