Stone County Medical Center (SCMC) recently welcomed Kristie Vinson, physical therapist, to SCMC Pros as a therapy supervisor, according to a press release.
As a physical therapist, Vinson utilizes evidence-based treatments, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy to assist patients in returning to their previous or desired level of function. Vinson is seeing patients at 2010 East Main St., Suite C, in Mountain View.
Vinson has over 18 years of experience as a therapist. Prior to working at SCMC Pros, her previous work experiences include outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and physical therapy education. Vinson received her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She has received graduate degrees from Arkansas State including a Master of Science in exercise science and a Doctorate of Education.
