Batesville Junior High sixth grade, McKenzie Treat, placed third in the third-sixth grade category with her artwork titled, “Running Buffalo Clover” in the Arkansas Endangered Species Art Contest.
All the winning pieces of artwork will be on display at the Witt Stephens Jr. Nature Center in Little Rock during the month of May.
This is the third competition this year that McKenzie has placed in representing Batesville Junior High School.
