A magnitude 3.7 earthquake shook a good portion of the southern Ozarks overnight.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake was recorded at 1:43 a.m. local time with the epicenter located around 11 miles south, southeast of Gassville, near the Baxter/Marion County line at a depth of almost 12 miles. On the website Earthquake-Report.com, residents from as far as Branson, Mo., Bella Vista, Ark., and Searcy noted feeling the tremor.
