Independence County Sheriff Shawn Stephens responded to a Camp Takahdah Road address Wednesday, Dec. 11, where Arkansas Community Corrections officers were conducting a “Parole Plan” visit.
During the visit, another parolee residing at the address, identified as James Hunter (pictured below), 60, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia, the incident report said.
Sheriff Stephens advised Hunter he would taken to jail and charges would be filed due the substance and items found.
Hunter faces a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
