Jimmy Dale Woodruff, 86, of Tuckerman departed this life Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019. He was born Aug. 11, 1933, to Theodore V. and Irene (Pectal) Woodruff. He was of the Baptist Belief. Woodruff enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and vegetable gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Leola Woodruff, parents, brothers; Andy Woodruff, Teddy Woodruff, and sister; Joanee Lowery.
His survivors are son; Greg Woodruff of Tuckerman, daughter; Deborah Owens of Jonesboro, brother; Sammy Woodruff of Va., sisters; Mandy Thompson of Jonesboro, and Judy Williamson or Cordova, Tenn., four grandchildren; Amber Owens, Samantha Owens, Kemberle Brawn, and Alexander Woodruff, and great-grandchildren; Katherine Meyer, and Kristina McPherson.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Gracelawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, at the funeral home.
