Marie Tidwell, 74, of Jacksonport departed this life Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, at her home. She was born May 7, 1945, to Earnest and Lucy (Cox) Norris and was a member of Jesus is Lord Family Worship Center. She enjoyed singing, fishing, and family gatherings.
She was preceded in death by one daughter; Angela Patterson, her parents, six brothers, and four sisters.
Her survivors are her husband; Leon Tidwell of the home, sons; Tony Bowen (Susie) of Russellville, Michael Bowen (Pamela) of Jonesboro, Leon “Bubba” (Marie) Tidwell of Little Rock, and Troy Tidwell of Newport, daughters; Candy Tidwell of Jacksonport, Kim Francisco of North Little Rock, Jennifer Bowen of Fort Smith, and Missy Reeves of Bryant, brother; Billy Jo Norris (Elwanda) of Jonesboro, fourteen grandchildren; T.J. Bowen, Kristin Christianson, Jayden Bowen, Nicole McCutchean, Cody Lindsey, Brandon Lindsey, Richard Lindsey, Katy Hurst, Kassidy Atkinson, Eli Jameson, Gracie Bowen, Cody Tidwell, Shelby Spicer, and Blake Reeves, and great-grandchildren; Makynzie Bowen, Dallas Anschultz, Penelope Bowen, Cooper Christianson, Liam Christianson, Chandler Lindsey, Karston Lindsey, Ara Bella Arter, Avery Atkinson, Jaiden Searcy, and Ace Searcy.
Services will be Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the Jesus is Lord Family Center in Jacksonport. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dillinger Funeral Home.
