Barry Lynn Trobaugh of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at the age of 71.
He was born Oct. 14, 1948, in Newport, the son of Roscoe and Mary Opal (Buchanan) Trobaugh.
On June 3, 1977, Mr. Barry Trobaugh married Miss Anita Cagle, and together they spent 37 years.
Trobaugh was graduate of Beedeville High School and a United States Marine Veteran. During his time in the Marines, he worked as a tank mechanic.
Following his time in the service, Trobaugh worked as a heavy equipment operator for Martin Metals and Newport area steel mills.
He enjoyed watching television, target shooting, and loved his cats. He was a member of the Algoa Church of Christ.
Trobaugh was preceded in death by his wife, Anita (Cagle) Trobaugh; and his parents.
He is survived by one son, Jonathan Trobaugh, and wife, Derinda of Fayetteville; one daughter, Dawn Bush of Almont, Michigan; one brother, Billy Wayne Trobaugh of Plano, Texas; three grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Matt, Brittany, Logan, Emma, and Connor; and special friends, Morgan and Sallie Robinette.
