Jack Harvey Savage of Charlotte, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, March 9, 2020, at the age of 67.
He was born April 9, 1952, at Sturgis, Michigan, the son of Paul Harvey and Loa Louisa (Schlarb) Savage.
He was a retired truck driver, and of the Missionary Baptist faith.
Savage enjoyed working on cars and rebuilding old tractors. He had a passion for travel and riding his motorcycle. He was always ready to help others by lending a helping hand. Most of all, he loved to talk to his children and friends.
Savage is survived by one son, Paul Savage, and wife, Karen, of Batesville; one daughter, Chelsea Savage of Conway; five grandchildren, Caroline Candler, Reagan Savage, Isabella Savage, Gavin Savage, and Isla Riley; one sister, Jean Heath, and husband, Franklin, of Charlotte; his parents, Paul Harvey and Loa Louise Savage of Charlotte; his children’s mother, Lisa (Scoggin) Brinker of Batesville; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Friday, 1:00-1:30 p.m. prior to service.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Center Grove Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are William Latola, Mike Shaw, Justin Pierce, Keith Sturch, Harold Nix, Clark Fitzpatrick, and Buck Murphree. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Qualls and Gary Brock.
