A Community Drive-Thru Screening event to assess and test for COVID – 19 (Coronavirus) will be held at the White River Medical Center East Entrance on Thursday, May 21.
The event will last from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. The event will consist of a verbal assessment. If it is determined a test is needed, a swab will be conducted by staff.
Symptoms of COVID – 19 include abdominal pain, body aches, diarrhea, dry cough, fever, headache, shortness of breath, and sore throat.
Anyone experiencing these symptoms or who suspects they have COVID – 19 can participate. All participants must remain in their vehicles and await direction from staff.
The Community Drive-Thru Screening event is a collaborative screening between the Independence County Health Department, UAMS Family Medical Center, and White River Health System residents and staff. Anyone with questions can call (870) 613-6145.
