Venita (Clary) Farley of Newark, formerly of Fresno, Calif., departed this life on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at the age of 87. She was born August 20, 1932, in Monette, the daughter of Alvin and Virginia (Anderson) Clary.
She was a home health aide and also spent time driving a school bus. She was a member of the Newark Assembly of God. She loved to shop, especially yard sales. She enjoyed watching game shows, making flower arrangements, and reading her Bible. Farley loved to travel, and never stayed in one place very long.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Eugene Farley; one grandson, Colt Farley; and her parents.
She is survived by four sons, Jim Hammers of Fresno, Calif., Randy Hammers and wife, Janice of Fresno, Calif., Michael Herrmann of Heber Springs, and Jason Farley and fiancé Jenni of Rogersville, Mo.; three daughters, Terry Owens and husband, David, of Delton, Colo., Debbie Liles of Eureka, Calif., and Tracy Farley of Newark; two brothers, Wayne Clary and wife, Pat, of Cherokee Village, and Fred Clary and wife, Cindy, of Little Rock; one sister, Janice Martin of Newark; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
