Leeanne Duncil Brackett, 46, of Batesville passed away May 24 at her mother’s home in Batesville.
She lost her long, but hard-fought, battle with leukemia surrounded by family.
Leeanne was born May 4, 1974 in Wauchula, FL to Debbie Slisher and Jimmy Duncil. Leeanne was born into a very large and close family, and family meant everything to her. Her charismatic and loving heart made her a strong spirit in the lives of her family and friends. She always brought smiles and laughter to gatherings.
When Leeanne was 19, she married the love of her life, Ronnie Brackett. Her loving spirit expanded as she welcomed into her heart a stepson, Donnie. Ronnie and Leeanne then had three beautiful daughters, Taylor, Bree, and Alli. The Lord further blessed Leeanne with the arrival of her precious granddaughters and grandson, Olivia, Paisley, and Liam.
Leeanne always found complete fulfillment in ensuring that her family stayed safe, secure, and happy. So much so, that she continued to love and care for them throughout the length of her sickness.
Leeanne is survived by three daughters, Taylor Baxter (Blake), Breeanna Brackett, and Allison Brackett all of Batesville; stepson, Donnie Brackett of Concord; two granddaughters and a grandson, Olivia Plautz, Paisley Baxter, and Liam Baxter; her parents, Debbie and Aaron Slisher of Batesville; Jimmy Duncil of Hornbeak, TN; mother-in-law, June Brackett of Concord; her sister Erin Duncil Griffin (Lee) of Samburg, TN; nephew and nieces Landon, McKinlee, and Kaycee Griffin; six uncles, five aunts, and a multitude of cousins and friends.
Leeanne is preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Brackett; grandparents, Leroy and Dorthy Turner, Benny Duncil, and Nadine Knight; father-in-law Gary Brackett, three uncles, and one aunt.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 27 at the Missionary Baptist Church in Concord, AR. Visitation will begin at Noon with the service to follow at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers include Timmy Turner, Gary Turner, Tommy Turner, Roger Turner, Allen Baker, and Bobby Reeves. Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Turner and Bud Lewis.
