Charles Joseph “Chuck” Dolezal of Newport departed this life on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at the age of 64. He was born February 9, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Charles and Joan (Berish) Dolezal. Dolezal married Melinda Smith on August 19, 1978, and together they spent 41 years.
He worked for Arkansas Steel Mill as a caster for over 17 years. He enjoyed fishing. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and his three grandsons, whom he adored.
Mr. Dolezal was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Melinda (Smith) Dolezal of the home; two daughters, Lauren Harbourt and husband, Tyler, of Conway, and Katie Daigle and husband, Caleb, of Knob Koster, Missouri; three grandsons, Maddox Harbourt, Camden Harbourt, and Mason Daigle; one brother, Dr. Edward Dolezal and wife, Carolyn; two sisters, Laurie Bolanowski and husband, Ronald, and Karen Dombrowski and husband, Don; a host of nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday, June 10, 2020, from 5:00- 7:00 p.m.
