Donnis Faye (McGee) Williams, 79, of Harrisburg, departed this life on August 25, 2020, at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was born on January 8, 1941, in Jonesboro the daughter of Harry and Lucy (Bradsher) McGee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jerome McGee, and one sister, Suzetta McGee. Donnis married Mr. Billy Joe Williams on November 8, 1957, and they have enjoyed sixty-two years of marriage.
After finishing her schooling at Harrisburg Donnis attended Delta Vocational Technical School at Marked Tree and she completed her course and received her State License in Cosmetology. Donnis was a homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Williams of Harrisburg, one son, Tim (Lisa) Williams of Tampa, Fla., two daughters: Lana Jo Reynolds and Kimberly Williams, both of Harrisburg, one brother, Max McGee of Hawthorne, Nev., eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Graveside service will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Farm Hill Cemetery. Bro. Tim Hale will conduct the service with these men serving as active pallbearers: Nicholas Bruce, Nathaniel Williams, Brayden Honeycutt, Brennon Honeycutt, Brylan Honeycutt, and Victor Roberts. Honorary pallbearers are Timothy J. P. Williams and Andrew J. P. Williams. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
