Hershel Blankenship, 72 of Cave City (formerly of Wiseman) died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020. He was born Nov. 20, 1947, in Gassville, Arkansas to Nelson and Hattie Jane Moser Blankenship. He was retired from the City of Horseshoe Bend and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lester Blankenship.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Bailey of Cave City and Kelley Blankenship of Watts, California; three brothers, Loyd Blankenship of Mountain View, Walter Blankenship of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Willie Moser of Horseshoe Bend; five sisters, Ruthie Williams and Alice Thomas both of Wiseman, Kaye Bonham and Faye Novak both of Horseshoe Bend and Sandra Williams of Texas; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
No funeral services are planned. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
