Lois Jean (Wilson) Wallis, 92, of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, at her home. She was born May 2, 1928, in Newark, Arkansas.
Mrs. Wallis was a graduate of Newark High School.
She loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals play. Wallis also enjoyed observing the hummingbirds feed. Her greatest joy in life came from cooking and spending time with her family.
Wallis was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wallis; one son, Bobby Lynn Wallis; one sister, Etta Mae Satterwhite; her father, Albert Wilson; her mother and second father, Margie (McClure) and Lacy Fields.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Osborne and husband, Bob, of Jonesboro, and Jackie Wallis and wife, Terry, of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Becky Osborne of Jonesboro, Greg Osborne, and wife, Beth, of Paragould, and Justin Wallis of Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Anna Gail Osborne and Jack Gregory Osborne; several nieces and nephews; and her cat, Tiny.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Friday evening, 4:30-6:00 p.m. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Blue Springs Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Davis officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Bob Osborne, Greg Osborne, Trent Nast, Johnny Baty, Wesley Henry, and Allen Edwards.
