Floyd Lee Johns of Batesville, AR died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at the age of 73.
Floyd was born Nov. 10, 1947, to the late Floyd and Rachel (Britt) Johns.
Floyd loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casinos. Most of all though, Floyd’s passion was his family. He loved and cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Floyd is preceded in death by both parents; his sister, Betty Lynn; and four brothers: Frankie Johns, Roger Johns, Gary Johns, and Billy Johns. He is survived by his wife, Janis Johns; his sons, Floyd Lee Johns (Terry), Bobby Allen Johns (Kourtenay), Richard Lee Johns, and Darren Webster; his daughters, Tonya Hinds (Lance) and Michelle Weaver (David); his brothers, Jeral Edward Johns (Val) and Ronnie Johns; 21 grandchildren: Kiarra Dawkins (Brent), Adam Slayter, Alex Johns, Hayden Johns, Shelbee Johns, Aiden Layton, Nora Johns, Travis Johns, Treyal Groesbeck, Ashley Johns, Courtney Johns, Selena Hinds, Haley Hinds, Jordan Dotson, Dylan Rose, Maranda Longo, Mikaila Weaver, Weston Weaver, Landon Weaver, Bailee Weaver, and Noah Weaver; and two great-grandchildren.
