On Jan. 7, 2021, the gate of paradise opened and Fumiko (Miki) DaPron, age 96, entered into God’s domain of warmth, safety, and pain-free eternity following a long illness.
Fumiko was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers in Japan. Survived by husband Bernard, daughter and son-in-law Chieko and William Johnson of Brockwell, son and daughter-in-law Takashi and Yukiko Ueda, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, all living in Japan.
Fumiko was a loyal loving wife for 68 years and a doting mother for over 70 years; a skilled seamstress formerly employed by Sears custom draperies in North Carolina as well as a certified instructor in the arts of ceramics, porcelain, and china painting who moved to Brockwell from Florida in 2014 to be near family.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by everyone whose lives were tenderly touched by her warm smile and outgoing personality.
Final arrangements by Roller Funeral Home in Batesville with internment at Baxter Memorial Garden at Mountain Home.
