Bobby Wayne Wolford, 68, of Batesville, departed this life on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, in Searcy, Arkansas.
He was born in Batesville on Oct. 2, 1952, to Robert Wilson Wolford and Monnie Ann Jones Wolford.
During his working years, he was employed at Banquet-Con Agra for over 40 years.
Bobby loved going to church and was strong in his faith. He attended Cornerstone Community Church and Sydney Baptist Church. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Naugle and her husband, John, of Bradford, and Lori Jones and her husband, Billy, of Batesville; a brother, Michael “Chick” Wolford and his wife, Kashi of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Veneda Marshall and her husband, Robert, of Newark; four grandchildren, Jonathan Wolford, Ashley Naugle, Dylan Jones, Tyler Jones; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Steve Wolford and Randy Wolford.
A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service, 2180 Batesville Blvd, Southside, AR 72501 with Bro. Michael Wolford and Bro. Shannon Smith officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Pallbearers will be Billy Jones, John Naugle, Jonathan Wolford, Dylan Jones, Tyler Jones, and Chick Wolford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Boozer, Brian Boozer, and Jay Goddard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doty Southside Funeral Service.
We will be complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and will be practicing social distancing. All attendees must wear masks before entering the facility.
