Glenn Raven Clark, 69, of Batesville entered the gates of heaven on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021.
Glenn was born Feb. 9, 1952, to the late Willie L. Clark and Ruby Lee (Wilfong) Clark James in Fordyce, AR.
Glenn graduated from Arkansas School for the blind in 1971. He attended the University of Central Arkansas and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Lyon College (formerly Arkansas College).
He worked as a commercial store manager, Entergy operator, and nursing home administrator.
Glenn was of Christian faith and served the Lord Jesus Christ faithfully in life as well as a Baptist deacon and minister.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation Thursday, March 4, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville.
Friendship Baptist Church of Batesville will host the funeral service on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 11 a.m.
Officiating will be Pastor L.A. Bland, Pastor Rodney Smith, and Min. Keith Cothrine.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Daniel King, Michael Mills, CW2 Jesse Turner, Earle Hunter Jr., Aljuray Sisson, and Dwayne Patton.
The family would like to recognize the following persons as honorary Pallbearers: Odie Bristow, Ernest Owens, James “Bootsie” Vaughn, Daniel Smith, the old Independence Steam Electric (ISES) crew, and all the coaching staff and softball teams, with special regards to the mighty “Roadrunners”.
