Hunter Dewayne Collins of Greers Ferry, Arkansas, departed this life on Aug. 23, 2021, at the age of 20. He was born Nov. 28, 2000, in Jonesboro, the son of Christopher and Kelly (Ford) Collins.
Hunter was a graduate of Greers Ferry High School and worked as a stocker at Tractor Supply.
He was an avid reader and had many other hobbies including, gaming, reading, working with computers, and playing baseball.
Hunter was preceded in death by two uncles, Jeffrey Brock and Josh Watson.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Kelly (Ford) Collins of Greers Ferry; four sisters, Kailey Collins of Newark, Skylar Collins Ballard and husband, Mickey of Newark, Madison Collins of Greers Ferry, and Lillyanna Bryant of Newport; his paternal grandparents, Junior Collins of Greers Ferry, and Donna and Edward Popejoy of Newport; maternal grandparents, David and Carolyn Ford of Trumann; aunts and uncles, Terri and Steven Prichard of Deer Park, Texas, Angie Watson of Trumann, and Kevin Ford of Trumann; great aunt, Betty Stegall of South Haven, Mississippi; cousin, Karen Berry of South Haven, Mississippi; and his beloved dog, whom he loved as his “son”, Eros.
Services will be 4:00 p.m. Friday at Jackson’s Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service.
