A Mountain View man died Sunday afternoon after a motorcycle-vehicle collision in rural Cleburne County.
According to the preliminary fatality report from the Arkansas State Police, Douglas W. Storey, 61, of Mountain View, was driving his 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Highway 5, negotiating a right-hand curve when the cycle crossed the highway centerline and struck a 2017 Buick traveling in the northbound lane.
ASP Cpl. Dwight N. Griffith’s report noted the roadway was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the accident.
