Tuesday’s election results regarding one position on the Batesville School Board and one issue, a millage increase for Southside School District, are in.
The millage increase for the Southside School District was passed by a vote of 440 votes for the tax and 217 against. (For more info on that story, click here.)
And in Batesville, Dwight Ford defeated Marquita Danielle Brown for position five on the Batesville School Board by a vote of 70-15.
744 ballots were cast concerning the items decided in last night’s election.
