Patsy Fletcher of Newport, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the age of 83. She was born September 15, 1938, in Remmel, the daughter of William Emel and Ruby (Christal) Fletcher.
She worked for Merchants & Planters Bank for 42 years, starting as a teller, and ending her career as Supervisor of North Branch. She was a member of the Holden Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William “Billy” Fletcher, Sr., and Cloyce Fletcher; one nephew, Gregory Allen Fletcher; and one great-niece, Nicole Fletcher.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Pauline Fletcher and Rita Fletcher, both of Newport; three nephews, William Darrell Fletcher, Jr., and wife Susan, Robert Dale Fletcher, and Joseph Russell Fletcher; great-nephews and niece, Thomas Bruce Fletcher, Ashli Elaine Grady, and Jackson Conrad Fletcher; two great-great nephews, Jordan and Jaylen Grady.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Remmel-McCall Cemetery, with Jimmy Cooper officiating.
