Darlene Everett, 69, of Sulphur Rock passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021.
She was born Tuesday, March 25, 1952, in Newport to Owen Lee Reves and Margaret Christine Maynard.
Darlene loved her family very much and enjoyed cooking for them, being around them, and all of the family gatherings. In her younger years, she loved to go hunting. Darlene and Phillip were married on October 10, 1969. She was the glue that held everything together and always one to worry about her family.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Phillip J.M. Everett of the home; one daughter, Ann Silas of Batesville; three brothers, Leo Reves (Betty) of Pleasant Plains, Darell Reves of Batesville, and Gwen Reves of Batesville; one sister, Maxine Dew of Batesville; two grandchildren, L.J. Silas (Sarah) and Charity VanRyzin (Brandon); two great-grandchildren, Kimber Silas and Luke Everett VanRyzin as well as several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Phillip James Everett; and four brothers, Nolen, Thurman, Evans, and Melvin Reves.
Pallbearers are Melton Dew, Steve Dew, Mitch Wright, Chris Dew, Nick Dew, and Lee Reves. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon VanRyzin and L.J. Silas.
Graveside services will be held Monday, December 13, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Sulphur Rock Cemetery with John High officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville on Monday, December 13, 2021.
