Albert “Sonny” Willis, 71 of Southside passed away Monday, December 20, 2021. He was born January 4, 1950, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Henry Abraham and Birdie Alean Jones Willis. He was a retired house painter and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Michael Willis and two half-sisters, Mary and Ruby Willis.
Survivors include his partner of 46 years, Brenda Halpaine; three sons, Louie Dewayne Willis of Conway, Joseph Halpaine and Tony Halpaine both of Batesville; two daughters, Patricia Presley (Terry) of Cave City and Amanda Smith (James) of Southside; one brother, Ricky Willis of Batesville; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Egner Cemetery near Salado with Bro Bobby Sanders officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
