Buhton Ann Jones, 94 of Cave City passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born February 15, 1927, in Nelsonville, Arkansas to Jeff M. and Vida E. Jones. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church at Nelsonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry A. Qualls; three brothers, George Jones, Scott Jones and infant brother, Waymon Paul Jones; four sisters, Charlene Maxwell, Robbie Nell Hash, Jeffie Farmer and Jane Swango and one granddaughter, Jerri Qualls.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Stone of Cave City and Mary Ann Runyon (Ron) of Kokomo, Indiana; one stepdaughter, Betty Greiner of Mississippi; five grandchildren, Ronnie Runyon, Robbie Runyon, Christina Smith, Jason Qualls and Ashley Stone; two step-grandchildren, Leah Greiner and Jeremy Greiner; ten great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church at Nelsonville with Bro. Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
Masks will be required for attendance.
