Mona Faye Gammill May, 88, of Batesville passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
She was born October 21, 1933, in Timbo, Arkansas to Olis Gammill and Cleo Goodman Gammill.
She attended Fairview Missionary Baptist Church in Timbo; she enjoyed studying the Bible and had read through it several times.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, John May; daughter, Janet May; brother, Burl Gammill of Fox; two sisters, Shirley Brewer of Wichita, Kansas and Linda Boutwell (Roger) of Batesville; and lots of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents; six brothers, Conley Gower, Ray Gower, Leon Gower, Ologie Gammill, Max Gammill, and Rubin Gammill; and two sisters, Louise Southern and Pat Weaver.
Pallbearers will be Brian Scott, Marty Berry, Steven Gammill, and Dean Gammill.
Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm Friday, January 7, 2022, at Pordue Cemetery in Onia under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville with John Rodgers.
