Ronald Lee McGough, 73, of Harrisburg formerly of West Helena departed this life on Sunday ~ January 9, 2022, at St. Bernard Medical Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He was born August 22, 1948, in Helena, Arkansas the son of Jewel and Tolise (Martin) McGough. His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his Mother, Tolise McGough of West Helena, of Harrisburg, two daughters: Laura Collins of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Amy McGough of Phoenix, Arizona, one sister, Patrice Smith of Helena, Arkansas, four grandchildren: Andrew McRae, Monte McRae, Lucas McRae, and Johnathan Demoss, and three great-grandchildren: Jackson, Benjamin, and Ashton.
He graduated in 1966 from Central High School at West Helena, Arkansas, he then attended Phillip County Community College, after serving two years in United States Army he worked for Entergy as an Electrician. He enjoyed doing carpentry work, fishing, cooking, grilling and spending time with family and friends.
Following Cremation the family will have a private service.
