Comments from Coach Denison: It was great to see us finish the regular season on a positive note. The boys set a school record with their Bakers game of 244, and BJ Williams came very close to breaking the school record for girls high game with her 209 game. We have had a great season so far and the kids have high expectations for the events ahead. Hopefully, we can ride this momentum into conference and state tournament play in the upcoming weeks.
Next match: Southside at the 4A-3A East Conference Tournament at AllFam Bowl in Cabot on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 10 a.m.
