Glenda (Heeb) Harper, 83, of Harrisburg, departed this life on Monday ~ March 14, 2022, at her residence in Harrisburg.
She was born on September 12, 1938, in Harrisburg, Arkansas the daughter of Alfred “Dode” and Berneda (Nix) Heeb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Harper in 1979, and one brother, Jimmy Heeb. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Harrisburg. She was also a Harrisburg High School graduate.
Glenda enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping for antiques and collecting knick-knacks. Glenda was a very proud Mother and Grandmother.
She is survived by one son, Chris (Christy) Harper of Benbrook, Texas, one sister, Connie Jones of Harrisburg, two grandchildren: August Harper of Fort Worth, Texas and C J (Alexis) Harper also of Fort Worth, Texas. The family will have a private Memorial Service at a later time. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 204 S. Main Street.
