Freda L. Edley, 92 of Batesville passed away Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born July 19, 1929, in Batesville, Arkansas to Horace and Clara Simpson Lundy. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sharp United Methodist Church at Gainesboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph W. Edley; two brothers, C.S. Lundy and Jack Lundy and two sisters, Lockie Burge and Goldie Drummond.
Survivors include one son, Larry Edley (Wenona) of Batesville; one daughter, Helen Williams (Larry) of Cord; six grandchildren, Heidi Roberts, Holly Williams, Chris Kirk, Scott Kirk, Dennis Edley and Wayne Edley; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will begin Friday, April 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Jeff Childers officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery at Gainesboro.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
