The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is proud to announce the return of the Business Expo presented by FNBC on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The theme is “Who’s Who” and will celebrate the “best of” what the Batesville area businesses have to offer. The event is set to occur at the Batesville Community Center and is free and open to the public. All community members are welcome to attend.
“We are excited to celebrate our businesses’ reputations for being the most likely to provide the best services to their customers,” said Evie Clauss, BACC’s hospitality coordinator. “We are ready to see familiar faces and welcome new vendors this year. We are adding booth spaces and more activities to this growing event.”
Vendors will engage with visitors, celebrate the superlatives that make their brand unique, and distribute promotional items, food samples, and beverages throughout the day. Visiting booths will also increase visitors’ chances of winning door prizes and give-a-ways.
“We know many in our business community have been named to many Who’s Who lists recognizing what they are the ‘best’ at, and we want to celebrate that,” said Clauss. “Businesses have a lot to brag about — everything from being named ‘best leaders’ and ‘top performers’ to having the ‘best hair.'”
The Business Expo will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The business-to-business trade show, which is open to participating vendors, will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Taste of the Chamber, featuring local cuisine served by chamber members, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
New this year, the Business Expo features a Kids Zone with activities for kids and a Career Showcase, encouraging visitors to learn about current job openings. The Kids Zone and Career Showcase will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“The expo continues to be a community tradition and the best way for our businesses to showcase products and services offered,” says Clauss. “This event was created to promote member services and products to the community. I am proud that we have built and been recognized for hosting one of the region’s best and biggest trade shows.”
FNBC presents the expo with additional support from Bad Boy Mowers, the City of Batesville, Merchants & Planters Bank, Peco Foods, RAWK Imprinting, the UPS Store, Suddenlink Business, and the White River Health System.
