Richard L Smith, 81, of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his home in Harrisburg. He was born September 13, 1941, in Cash, Arkansas the son of Wesley and Eva (Easter) Smith.
Richard’s parents preceded him in death, his wife, Betty Sue (Kennedy) Smith, also five brothers: Tom Smith, Herbert Smith, George Smith, Larry Smith, and Gary Smith, two sisters: Pearl Brown and Willadean McDaniel, one son-in-law, Keith Reinhard.
Richard married Betty Sue Kennedy on July 24, 1963, and they enjoyed thirty years of marriage before her passing in December 1993. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends, and his grandchildren and great-grands made his world light up!
Richard is survived by three sons: Eddie Smith, Wade Smith and wife Kathy, and Richard E. Smith all of Harrisburg, one daughter, Susie Reinhard also of Harrisburg, eight grandchildren: Brittany Nash, Samatha Smith, Zach Reinhard, Christopher Smith, Courtney Dickerson, Whitney Smith, Hunter Smith, and Dillon Reinhard, and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Bro Kenny Guy McMahan will conduct the service.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Funeral Service will follow Thursday, April 21 at 2:00 P. M. at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park.
