Pearlean Patterson, 87, of Newport departed this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She was born January 10, 1935, in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to Louis and Willie Ella (Collins) Johnson.
Pearlean was a member of the Greater Morning Baptist Church and loved her church family. She enjoyed any occasion to gather with family and friends. Her favorite occasions included holidays, birthdays and family reunions. She loved to cook family dinners and was known for crocheting and sewing baby blankets.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Arthur Patterson; her son, Lonnie Eugene Patterson (Dawn); her brother, Joe Louis Johnson, Benny Johnson; her sisters, Pauline Davis and Mae Etta Briggs.
She is survived by her sons, Claude Robinson (Ann) of Newport, Donald Ray Patterson (Martha) of Maryland, Frederick Patterson (Lashonda) of Texas; daughter, Patricia Bullock (Arthur) of Maumelle; brothers, Joe Lewis Johnson of California and Fred Johnson of California; sister, Gloria Johnson of Maumelle; a special adopted grandson, Calvin Green; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and special friends, Ann Stephenson and Grace Corley.
Those honored to serve as pallbearer are Matt Durant, Kevin Robinson, Brandon Bullock, Bryon Bullock, Stephen Taylor and Calvin Green.
Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. The visitation will be Tuesday, April 26th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
