Alvetta Hatfield, 89 of Batesville passed away Friday, May 13, 2022. She was born September 8, 1932, in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Orvin and Willie Marie Shirley Anderson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Powell’s Chapel Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis Hatfield and one sister, Rhodella Watkins.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen Holifield (Paul) of Batesville; one granddaughter, Megan Roulier (Pete) of Batesville; one brother, Sam Anderson of Cabot; one sister, Vina Leah Cole of Hereford, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell’s Chapel Cemetery near Evening Shade. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
The visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers are Boyce Watkins, Vaughn Watkins, Sam Anderson, Sean Love, Joshua Love and Mike Love.
