Mrs. Catherine M. (Brand) Mills, 79, of Harrisburg, departed this life on Tuesday ~ June 21, 2022, at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was born on January 18, 1943, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, the daughter of C. J. Brand Jr. and Mildred (Mason) Brand.
Her parents preceded her in death, and she was also preceded by her husband, Edmond Mills Sr.; two daughters: Lillian Smith and Venesa Burnett; four brothers: Danny, Carl, Charles, and Kenneth Brand; and two sisters: Barbara Jo Brand and Lillian Brand. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching game shows, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Edmond Mills Jr., and wife Christy of Marked Tree, Arkansas; two daughters: Millie Walton and husband Ken of Harrisburg, Arkansas; and Peggy Reever, and husband Richard, of North Carolina; 13, grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m.
Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Bro. Eddie Brooks will conduct the service. These men will serve as active pallbearers: Chris Marple, John Taylor, Tommy Prestage, Doyle White, Terry Munger, and Robert Burnett.
