Citizens Bank promotes Anders to VP retail trainer

Citizens Bank, headquartered in Batesville, has announced the promotion of Kevin Anders (pictured), who will be serving as vice president of retail training.

The bank said Anders’ role in this position role includes content management, development, maintenance, design, and delivery of retail training programs. He will be responsible for training, coaching, and developing retail banking associates in line with Citizens Bank’s strategic plan.

“We are proud to support Kevin’s growth here at Citizens,” said Sarah Lane, chief retail officer at Citizens Bank. “He truly is a determined leader who loves seeing people succeed. I am excited to see him continue to flourish in his new role.”

Anders brings years of expertise in retail training to this new position.

“It is an awesome feeling seeing people you have trained and coached along the way get promoted and move on to do great things,” said Anders. “This role gives me the opportunity to invest in our associates and watch them grow.”

Anders attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Outside of work, he dedicates his time to volunteering at Arkansas Foodbank. He and his wife, Ashley, currently reside in Sherwood. They have been married for 19 years and have one son, Blake, who is 16.
