JoElla MacHugh, age 77 of Sidney passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Jonesboro. She was born February 26, 1945, in Bakersville, California to Ceiril and Dorthey Young Dougherty. She was a retired grocery store clerk and a member of the Jubilee Family Church in Batesville. She enjoyed reading and the Harry Potter movies. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Willie Dougherty, Billy Dougherty and Charles Dougherty; and one sister, Rosemary Ladner.
She is survived by her son, Keith MacHugh (Debra) of Batesville, Arkansas; one grandchild, Oz MacHugh; two step-grandchildren, Rachel Howard and Dillon Weeks; and several other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
