Arkansas State Police say a Rose Bud, Ark., man died Saturday night in a crash in rural White County.
According to the preliminary fatality report, Jeremy D. Snow, 47, was driving his Honda VT1300 motorcycle on Arkansas State Highway 36, west of Joy Mountain, when the accident occurred.
The report said Snow was negotiating a left-hand curve when he ran off the roadway to the right and collided with a sign. Snow was thrown from the cycle, and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Snow was the 296th fatality that has occurred on Arkansas highways this year.
State police said the weather was clear and the road condition dry at the time of the accident.
