Danny R. Williford, 77, of Grubbs went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2022. He was born in Swifton on June 5, 1945, to Richard and Othel (Green) Williford.
Danny loved fishing, hunting, working on small engines and playing cards, but the things he loved most were his friends and family.
He will be greeted at the gates of heaven by his mother, Othel Arter; his father, Richard Williford; his daughter, Tammy Williford; his son, Timothy Williford; his brothers, Lowell Williford and Jimmy Williford; his sisters, Betty Wortham, Faye Williford, Mary Jo Baty, Olivia Huskey and Twylia Louis.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary Williford; his sons, James Williford and Allen Spradling (Cindy); his daughters, Kristie Bartley (Ben), Gail Poe (Anthony) and Kerry Finney (Steven); ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Swifton Cemetery with pastor Noel Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 10:30 at Dillinger Funeral Home chapel.
