Roy Alan Gonyer of Desha, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the age of 70. He was born on January 25, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Clyde and Edna (Alan) Gonyer.
Mr. Gonyer was a United States Army veteran and a HAM radio operator. He worked in maintenance at UACCB for many years. Mr. Gonyer enjoyed woodworking, carving, fishing, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Stephen Lee Gonyer; and his parents.
Mr. Gonyer is survived by one son, Jared Gonyer of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Jerica Gonyer of Richmond, Indiana; one niece, Ashlee Gonyer of Newport; and a lifetime of friends.
