Obituary: Patsy Juanita (Pat) Moody

Patsy Juanita (Pat) Moody of Batesville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2022.
She was born on December 19, 1942, and grew up in Jamestown, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Jewell Roberts and one brother, Roger Roberts.
A graduate of Desha High School she attended Arkansas State University where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.
As a member of First United Methodist Church of Batesville, she served as President of United Methodist Women, member of Chancel Choir, Board of Trustees, Sunday school teacher, relocation of church’s Vietnamese family as well as other committees.
She has been involved in the local community in many concerns and services, including Cub Scouts and Brownie Scouts.
She worked as office manager for Oak Park Medical Clinic for twenty years and Moody Pediatric Clinic for eight years before retiring in 2006. Her family was her treasure and her greatest joy was being Mimi to her grandchildren.
She was involved in many memories which she recorded in dozens of scrapbooks. She also loved cooking, gardening, and music.
She is survived by two children, Dr. Melody Moody, a Batesville Pediatrician and Lackey Gene Moody, Jr. a Batesville Real Estate Broker (Kristi); three grandchildren, Kathryn Elizabeth (Kate) Moody, Lackey Gene Moody III (Trey), Mary Georgiana (Georgi) Moody; one nephew, Rob Roberts (Amanda) of Batesville, Arkansas; one niece, Cori Faulkner (Tommy) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two great-nieces, Mia Roberts of Batesville and Kaitlyn Faulkner of Prairie Grove; sister-in-law, Janice Roberts of Springdale, Arkansas, and a host of other family and friends.
The visitation will be Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, at the First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am with Katie Pearce officiating.
The interment will be at Locust Grove Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
