Early voting for the Nov. 8 election begins today in Arkansas.
According to the Arkansas Secretary of State, early voting is available between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the two Saturdays before election day.
Early voting locations in the area include:
- Batesville — Batesville Community Center, 1420 S. 20th St.
- Southside — Southside City Hall, 2181 Batesville Blvd.
- Cave City — Cave City Community Center, 120 E. Spring St.
- Mountain View — Stone County Elections Office, 111 N. Peabody
Monday, Nov. 7, is an important date on two fronts. It is the last day to early vote as well as the deadline to register for the general election runoff.
Tuesday, Nov. 8, is general election day with the polls open at the usual voting sites between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 29, will be the early voting start date for any general election runoff races. Monday, Dec. 5, will be the end date for general election early voting while Tuesday, Dec. 6, is the date for the general election runoff.
