Jackie R Shultz Jr, 59, of Gid, Arkansas was born August 9, 1963, in Elwood, Indiana, to the late Jackie R. Shultz Sr., of Tipton, Indiana. Jackie was an ordained minister who shared the un-indoctrinated word of Christ. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and friend. Jackie was a Free Mason and he enjoyed fishing, photography, gardening, and woodworking. He was an herbalist who enjoyed mushroom hunting and wildcrafting with his wife. Jackie was an apiarist and aviarist of pigeons. He was close to nature and putting back into the land. Jackie was caring and kind. He loved working with and speaking to autistic children, as well as helping individuals within the community. He was an advocate for those in need. His motto was “Choices. You have two choices. Good or Bad? Always do good!”
Jackie is preceded in death by his father, the late Jackie R. Shultz Sr.; Terry Lee Shultz, Karen Shultz Hunter, Phillip Shultz, and his mother-in-law, Shirley Sharp. Survivors include his wife, Janette Shultz, and 3 children, Pamela Shultz Henderson (Coby), Nathon Shultz, and Daniel Matthews (Audra); his grandchildren, Jaden and Derrick Henderson, and Haley and Zoey Matthews; and his dear friend Darnell McClinton and family.
A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR.
