Linda ‶Cheryl″ (Smith) Pierce, 68 of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Monday, January 2, 2023, at NEA Baptist Medical Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born May 19, 1954, in Forrest City, Arkansas the daughter of Marvin and Barbara (Morris) Smith. Her parents preceded her in death, also three brothers: Bobby Smith, Roy Smith, and Mickey Smith, also one granddaughter, Chloe Trahan. Cheryl married Allen ‶Big Al″ Pierce on November 9, 1973, and they enjoyed 36 years of marriage before his passing in the year 2009. Cheryl was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisburg, and enjoyed puzzles, books, napping, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by one son, Chad (Kim) Pierce of Harrisburg, three daughters: Kim Wallace, Brooke (Brandon) Holcomb both of Harrisburg, and Amy Trahan of Rayne, Louisiana, four brothers: Andy Smith, David Smith, Murray Smith, and Larry Smith all of Wynne, Arkansas, two sisters: Jeannie Wolfe of Wynne, Arkansas and Patty Ruesing of Greenbrier, Arkansas, 11 grandchildren: Randon, Micah, Daylon, Keylan, Ayden, Ariel, Nala, Gracy, Gatkin, Eli, and Murphy, and 4 great-grandchildren: Kali, Ryker, Riot, and Talan. Bro. B. J. Chatman and Bro Matt Wilson will conduct the service and these men will serve as active pallbearers: Mickey Barker, Greg Baker, John Wallace, Brandon Holcomb, Marcus Flores, and Michael Perales. Honorary Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Visitation will be Thursday ~ January 5, 2023, from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. at Jackson’s Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Friday~ January 6, 2023, at 10:00 A. M. in Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be in Bolivar Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas
