Authorities say one person was killed, and four others were injured after an early morning shooting at a concert in Newport.

Two men were arrested after the shooting with probable cause, but have not been charged, according to Region 8 News.  The Jonesboro media outlet says Richard McGee, 31, and Aaron Warren, 28, are currently being held at the Jackson County Jail.

Newport Police say a 19-year-old female died at the concert, which was billed on social media as a “birthday bash” featuring rap artist Fredo Bang (see below). One of the four injured was flown to a hospital for further treatment, according to Region 8 News.

Authorities say more arrests will likely be made, and anyone with information or video of the shooting should contact the Newport Police Department at (870) 523-2722.
