Troy Dale Morrow was born on July 23, 1931, and went to heaven on February 3, 2023.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Oneda (Goodman) Morrow; a son, Roger Morrow; a daughter, Susan Scarberry (Benny); a brother, John Franklin Morrow; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Mary (Sisk) Morrow and eight brothers and sisters.
Troy was a Korean War Veteran, had an incredible work ethic and lived an exemplary life of love and support for his family.
He had a wonderful bass voice and loved gospel music. He was a master carpenter, provided guidance, support and love to his family, was a faithful member and deacon of Red Doors Missionary Baptist Church and in his spare time enjoyed fishing and hunting. He may very well be fishing with Peter in heaven as we honor his life here today.
I Corinthians 10:31 says . . .” whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.” From his service and support for his church and his family to his work ethic, to his rock-solid integrity in all matters, Troy’s life of obedience to God’s Word honored that verse.
He read his Bible and he believed God. We know where he is today.
A graveside service for Troy will be at 10 AM Monday, February 6, 2023, at Big Flat Cemetery in Big Flat Arkansas. Brother Josh Looney will officiate.
