Cave City will celebrate the April 8 Great American Solar Eclipse with a “Total Eclipse in the Park” at the Cave City Community Park.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to gather at the park to watch the eclipse, which will commence at 1:53:27 p.m.

Eclipse-themed merchandise from local businesses will be available. Prior to the eclipse, attendees can enjoy lunch from nearby eateries.

There is ample parking around the park, including across the street in a large field to the north. The park features amenities such as a playground, walking track, and fishing pond, with restroom facilities accessible to attendees.

Admission to the event is free, but organizers request attendees be courteous and help maintain the park’s cleanliness.

Cave City Mayor Jonas Anderson spoke with White River Now’s Chad Whiteaker about upcoming eclipse-related events. Listen to their visit, originally broadcast on Arkansas 103.3 KWOZ, below.
