Organizers of the Ozark Moonshine & Music Festival proudly announce that their third annual event will be held Friday & Saturday, November 1-2, 2024 at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds in Clinton, Arkansas. The festival is a community celebration of visual & performing arts, bringing together musicians, artists, crafters, and distillers to explore Arkansas’s rich cultural heritage.

Headlining the two-day festivities are The Gravel Yard Bluegrass Band, performing Friday night; and the award-winning country ensemble “LONESTAR” performing Saturday night. This celebrated Nashville band boasts decades of chart-topping country hits, selling over 10.5 million records with songs like “Amazed” and “Come Cryin’ to Me,” and winning the CMA’s “Vocal Group of the Year Award” & “International Achievement Award.” Also featured in the music lineup are Greenland Station, the Finley River Boys, Roving Gambler Band, True Country, and widely acclaimed ambassador of Ozark folk music, Pam Setser.

In a unique partnership with the Arkansas Distillers Guild, the festival celebrates the significance of Arkansas’s moonshine-making history and the tradition of innovation honored by today’s distillers. For both days of the Festival, the extensive expo will feature a wide range of craft spirits to please any aficionado, with tastings, exclusive cocktails, and engaging encounters with many of Arkansas’s master distillers.

This year’s venue will offer an exciting expansion of facilities for indoor activities, such as arts & crafts booths, educational exhibits, and more. The Van Buren County Fairgrounds are conveniently located just off the main route from the state’s capital, Little Rock, which is 70 miles away.

Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Advocacy Alliance of Central Arkansas, which brings together specially-trained teams who evaluate and investigate cases of child abuse and neglect. Last year’s festival raised over $17,000 for the CAA outreach, which includes a CASA program (Court Appointed Special Advocates, highly-trained volunteers appointed by a judge who stands up for the child in court) and the recently launched Child Advocacy Center in Clinton, which serves as a safe place for abused and neglected children to tell their story.

This is an especially poignant connection for the city of Clinton, poised to host the fundraising festival for the first time. “This festival is a major supporter of CASA, helping kids when they need it the most, and we’re grateful for that,” says Clinton mayor, Richard McCormac. “Come see us in 2024 for the best Ozark vistas and the best moonshine in the world!”

Ticket sales will be available online starting July 1, 2024, and organizers are accepting vendor applications through September 1. Anyone interested in opportunities for advertising & sponsorship, volunteering, or educational outreach is encouraged to contact Donald Farrar I I I at info@ozarkmoonshinefest.org.
